HASTEC HydroDrives Inc. business activities are focused on a new emerging technology – water powered motion control. The heart of the technology is our new HydroDrive water powered motor (patent pending), designed to replace electro-mechanical gearmotor drives for small conveyor applications.

The HydroDrive motor is made entirely of plastic and stainless steel and runs on a closed loop city water based system. Not only is the motor more energy efficient than existing gearmotor drives, it offers tremendous benefits and advantages in hygienic wash down environments as well as explosive risk areas, typically found within food processing plants.

The HydroDrive motor is designed and manufactured by HASTEC HydroDrives Inc. and will be distributed globally from our St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada location.
